Due to the COVID-19 situation, True Buddha Temple Maryland has recently re-opened to the public though with restrictions following the public health guidelines from our county and state government.   Please bear with us when scheduling temple visits as it is by appointment only during this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On August 30 (Sunday) at 2pm, the temple will be holding a True Buddha Repentance Ceremony along with a Life Release Ceremony, to be presided over by Reverend Lianji and Reverend Lianren. The merits of both services will be dedicated to the prayers of all those who register for blessings and deliverance, as well as benefiting the spirits of the memorial plaques in the temple’s Merit Altar and of the columbarium in the Memorial Garden.  May H.H. Living Buddha Lian-sheng and all Buddhas and Bohdisattvas radiate blessings on the living to eradicate negative karma, ward off illnesses, and keep families safe, and to deliver the spirits of the deceased, karmic enemies, and ancestors so that they can be reborn in buddha land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony will be held at the 3200 Norbeck Road location.  Due to social distancing rules, only 15 people will be allowed to attend in-person. Please call the temple to reserve your seat for in-person attendance (update 8\/18: all seats have now been taken). Those who make the list will be checked for facial coverings and body temperature at the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
